Robbie Lynn Hunsinger/ Tim Kaiser Double Bill

Really excited about this show at the Centennial Performing Arts Studios. Tim is an electro-acoustic wizard and he creates the most beautiful and fascinating electro-acoustic instrument sculptures. He is making another national tour from Duluth and we are so happy he is coming back through Nashville. I am bringing a fresh set with some new sound and video toys including synths a three channel responsive video mix- and of course oboe! Hope to see you there! Tim’s website is here!

Tiny Desk Contest!

Please check out my #tinydesk Entry “Rimum” which is ancient Akkadian for Wild Bull.

I think you can hear him galloping a bit!

So thrilled to record this with Missy Raines and Kris Karlson.

I am using #abletonlive with the #looper plugin controlled by internal midi triggers so #handsfree!

I record into #ableton as I play through the first three times looping each take. Then I take a solo over that and mix the #oboe loops live during the rest of the song.

Please give it a like on youtube!

Constellations – new project for Nashville Metro Arts!

So I am taking my new friends from Constellations out for a spin today at the Adventure Science Center in Nashville. There is a large maker day event with MTRAS and NashMicro and I will be joining them around 1 in the main auditorium – to the left before the ticket counters. This is the free part of the museum.

More official dates will be posted soon!

I have created a brand new interactive audiovisual animation using the Xbox Kinect and there are 6 characters: SunSynth, Glide, Spike, CatEye, FireFly and BlueGhost.
