Real-time interactive multimedia composition using a hacked xbox kinect to draw real-time animations with the oboe bell. This composition is a performance version of my interactive new media installation by the same name.

custom code turns the motion and speed data from the IR camera into colors and shapes. I am drawing with the Oboe bell. The image revealed underneath is one of my photos from the flooded Tupelo forest in Ebenezer Creek, Ga, taken from a canoe. Original music is a structured improvisation using live sampling/looping.
